Faith, part 2

Part 2
We need faith for every area of our life and I will write about a few areas. I, myself, need teaching on healing right now and that’s why I will start with that. My faith needs to grow. Our faith comes from hearing and what we hear must be built on the Word of God. (Rom.10:17) When I write the truth about healing, our faith will grow and we can easier receive our healing.
Many, many people are sick, both believers and non-believers and I am so glad that we have a God Who wants to heal us all. We can read Mat.5:45. It says that God makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. This was the Word God gave me when I wondered if I could pray for Muslims and Hindus. They will often need a supernatural healing or miracle in order to approach Jesus. You can therefore pray for everybody with boldness.
We will continue to read in Matthew. Look up Matt.8:16-17. It says: “When evening had come, they brought to Jesus many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.” Here we can read that Jesus healed everybody. He did not make a difference between high and low, or rich and poor. I believe that some of them had very serious sicknesses, but He healed them all.
He doesn’t think that this is too difficult since He knows that everything is possible to him who believes.(Mark 9:23) The healing was not dependant on the seriousness, but on the faith. Some of you might think that this is unfair and say: “I do not have faith to pray for blind people or those in need of new body-parts.” This is the reason why I write to you and you do not read this by coincidence. I have last time said that you have a measure of faith if you are a Christian. I cannot say often enough that Jesus healed everybody. We do not need to understand how, but it will happen when we pray. Our thoughts will often be a hindrance for our faith. You might have seen or heard about healings in other countries and wonder why so few are healed in your own country. In some countries they are used to receive orders and they do not question the teaching. In other countries they have so great needs and the economy is so bad that they gladly receive any help that are offered to them. They believe that Jesus both can and will heal them. Some people have never heard about Jesus before and have not been ruined by religious teaching. Many churches teach that Jesus healed while He was on earth, but not any more. Others say that sickness serves a divine purpose. Others say that He has the power to heal, but He might not want to use it. Nonsense. If you have heard teachings that are not built on the Word of God, it might be difficult to receive divine healing. Jesus heals everybody today since we can read in Heb.13:8 that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and for ever. As long as we are here on earth, we can get healed. When we get to heaven, we will have a transformed and perfect body and we are in no need of healing.
We can go back to Matt.8:16-17. We read that they brought many demon-possessed to Jesus and He drove out the spirits with a word. Jesus lives inside of us and we have been given the same authority by using His name. Many are afraid of driving out demons since they believe that the demons will attack them or make a big “show”. The demons like to do this if we allow them. We must therefore know our authority in Jesus and use it in faith. Jesus conquered the devil on the Cross and in Jesus we are victorious. Sin can stop the devil from leaving and it is therefore important that both you and the person you pray for confess known sins before you drive the devil out. We shall not trust in our own strength, but in the name above all other names, Jesus. We should not become proud when demons leave, but humbly accept the fact that Jesus has allowed us to use His name. You might not allow me to use your name in order to use your bank-account. Jesus has given us free access to the Heavenly bank. We can find everything there that we lack here on earth. We can ask for parts of our bodies, healings and miracles, joy and comfort, love and peace. Everything is available in that bank and it is never closed. We have free admission through the blood of Jesus.
God isn’t only interested in our bodies. We can read in 3.John 1:2 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” Our Daddy wants us to prosper in every area of our life, also in our economy. That is an area where many are suffering to-day. The economy are generally low all over the world right now. Many have lost their jobs and the media talks about it often and spreads fear. The devil wants to do that, but I want to remind you of the fact that we are in the world, but not of the world. We belong to another kingdom and in that kingdom we have other rules than the rules of the world. One important principle is the principle of “sowing and reaping.” You can go to Gal.6:7 and we read: “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” This is a general spiritual law and goes for every area of our lives. I have seen this principle for years and have been sowing, but God has told me that I do not expect a harvest. Malachi 3:10 talks about tithing. I quote: “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this”, says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.” Do you and I expect and believe that? I am honest and know that I haven’t always done so. You can be disobedient and keep the tithing to yourself or give, but do it unwillingly. Neither one, brings any blessing. We can go to 2.Cor.9:7 which says that God loves a cheerful giver and continue in the next verse which says: “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have abundance for every good work.” Do you lack anything? Have you given God what belongs to Him or have you given with a grudge in your heart? Did you expect a rich harvest from a God Who gives in abundance? I listened to two men on television today and they had both written to God what they wanted on the back of the envelope with the offering. They both wanted to be free from debts and they are both free of debts today. One of them got a result within six months. Do you believe that the Word of God is true? If you do and you believe that it is for you, you will receive what God promises you. It might sometimes take some time and it is during this time that we must cling to His promises and thank Him for the answer.
We read in 2.Cor.9 that we should have in abundance for every good work. If God has asked you to do something for Him or bless somebody, He will provide the means you need. I have really experienced that. I always had money to travel where God sent me. I never asked people to provide for me, but God.
I will again say that the principle of sowing and reaping is true for every area. A farmer expects a harvest when he sows carrots and potatoes and you should also expect a harvest, no matter what you sow. Unfortunately you will harvest bad fruits if that is the kind of seed you sow.
Faith is not a heavy burden which God has put on us. No, the just should live by faith. (Read Rom.1:17) Those of us who have received Jesus are righteous and we have become righteous by believing in Him and what He has done for us on the Cross. We are washed by His blood. Do you want to live a victorious life? Then you can read 1.John 5:4
FOR WHATEVER IS BORN OF GOD OVERCOMES THE WORLD. AND THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD – OUR FAITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
